A Life Worth Living

A Life Worth Living

If life is to dwell on the past,
then you would have eyes on the back of your head.
This is why there's a crick in your neck instead.
The past is meant for learning.

If life is to focus only on the present,
then you would have no feet for your shoes.
This is why you learned to walk and run the risk of getting a bruise.
The present is meant for appreciating.

If life is to only dream of and plan for the future,
then you would only live in your brain and have no need for a home.
This is why you hide under a rock and are so alone.
   The future is for hoping.

If learning, appreciating, hoping is the life you live,
then a fulfilled life you will have indeed.
This is why faith, hope and love is all you need.
   Life is made for living.

I agree...the word says, ...'now abideth faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is...love. A Love first and foremost of Almighty God, then of ourselves and others, amen. Thanks Martin. Love, Blessings and Faith...
