A Life Went Wrong

It’s not what you hear, but what you don’t. It’s not what goes right, but it’s what won’t. Can you see beyond the outer shell? Are you even thinking, is all, well? On the highway traveled did you miss the signs? Is it right to go on and keep down the blinds? You can’t go back and make all things right. Daylight is failing, then come the night… Sometimes we’re so busy that we miss the need. They’re the greatest of persons, that was… the read. Is it wrong to reach out and to touch their pain? Do we pass over, because there is no gain? When the light is on, are we a welcoming sight, Or when the light is on do we add to their plight? Then the papers tell the familiar story of lives lost… Several have died, many more injured, please… what was the cost? How do we tell the children? Their tears fall like the rain. Their hearts forever lost no snow glistening in the lane. Forever changed, hope gone, love lost, bitterness grows deep. Those lost forever, will always be missed, as they sleep… Dedicated to the Seal Beach Salon in California…
