A Life Painted With Poetry-A Poet's Worth
There's a feast to partake of that's filled with dreams.
Yet solace is granted within the night sky.
Words may come freely or tangled it seems.
Just born a poet with no notion why.
Presented a canvas we paint with our rhymes.
Share with the world what we're thinking of.
Writing of laughter or desolate times.
Pour into words of our heartache or love.
We'll spend all our days as poets I know.
Colors of life in our souls so deep.
Many expressions to nurture and grow.
Many more footsteps before we can sleep.
