A Letter To God

Dear God, please tell me what I’ve done
For you to rain blessings on me
When I woke up this morning, I kissed someone
But, I forgot to pray to thee
I prepared breakfast, then boasted of the taste
And filled my belly, as well as my face
I threw out good proportions, oh what a waste!
I never took the rime to even say my grace
Sunday came; I made it through another week
 Tribulations have silenced my spirit
So, in bed I lay so to speak
I had a chance; yet I went to a dance
So, I’m too tired to worship today
Many moons have come and gone
 Another opportunity I should embrace
Oh God forgive me, for this is my song
I pray that I never fall from your grace
