A lesson in love

Love knows no boundaries,
Or so we are told.
Creatures succeed,
Where humans succumb and fold.
See the love the duo radiates —
Sunny yellow against whiskered white.
Their bond glows in plain sight.
Closed eyes reflect tender care,
Open eyes reveal no fear.
May this love affair grow and inspire,
A lesson for us — to love, not tire.
