A Leaf That Clings To the Vine

She walks with grace and beauty,
This woman I love so.
She owns my heart and I'll never part
With the kind of love we know.
Our love is like a springtime leaf
The everlasting kind
And neither summer suns nor winter chills
Can kill the leaf that clings to the vine.

The leaf that clings to the vine
Sweetens tomorrow's wine.
So, while other leaves may wither and fall
And leave little or nothing behind
Our leaf of love will always be
Enduring, lasting, and kind.
Our love is like a springtime leaf
A leaf that clings to the vine.
