A Kitten Steals Your Heart

               A kitten steals your heart
                    its ballet sublime

               Her delicate motions
                    swipe precious minutes of time

               Then just when you say 
                    to yourself, “Alright, that’s enough”

               It curls into your lap 
                    ~ meows gently ‘midst fluff

Regina Elliott June 25, 2026 at 2:00 PM Hi Gershon, last winter we fostered two sibling kittens. We thought they were both females. One is a gray tabby, one solid black. The gray tabby is female, the black one is male. 75% of black cats are male. The male loved to cuddle in our arms. They were adopted together by a woman car parts delivery driver that delivers to my son-in-law’s transmission shop. Great poem!
