A Kiss Goodbye

You can break my heart
You can make me lonely
You can forsake my love
But I ask of you only
Don't crush my pride
Don't leave me denied
Please give me a last kiss goodbye

A kiss goodbye
Will let my heart mend
A kiss goodbye
Will let our love end
A kiss goodbye
Will let us part friends
A kiss goodbye
Will let me begin again

I don't have the right
Your eager for him
Let me get your purse
So this is the end
We had a good run
We had some fun
You kissed me, my sweet one

I won't cry
You leave my side
And wave bye
I'll be all right
You drive from sight
Such a bitter sweet night

You know inside
My love can't die
I saw you cry
With our last kiss, a kiss goodbye.
