A Kiss

a pause in summer
a summer night
clear almost cool
golden moon walks with us
hanging low
your voice is soft and sure
in the eveing air
todays stories
winding out winding out between us
into the air
you reach for my hand
and turn me in for a kiss
a kiss that takes the day away
and makes a promise for the night.

Amazingly descriptive for so short a poem... I love this line: "todays stories winding out winding out between us into the air." Lovely work.
