A King
I saw a King, he was standing
in a field all his own
he was mighty like a warrior
facing a battle all alone
he wore green leaves that dressed him
in a cape long and wide
it took a hundred years of passing
to become a King of this size
with his long arms up reaching
the sky rested on him
and he stood strong without weakness
in the face of the wind
for not all Kings are men
who sit on a throne
the only King I've ever seen
stands in a field all his own
