A Journey of Love At the Sea

By George P. Lumayag

“Come walk with me
To a journey at the sea”.

Where gentle wind blows a flower
Caring the smiling petals of May.

Where waves strike against the sand
Polishing the black pebbles to shine;
Such swaying pebbles carpet the shells
And hide treasures in the sand.

The summer breeze, like a soft caress
Of happy petals laying without delay,
Like the mangrove tree whispers softly
To the quiet flower of May.

A journey at the sea of summer day
The gentle breeze aspires lofty dreams...
And makes her petals to sway…
Then, say, “My love for you is a journey.”
