A Journey By Sea

A Journey By Sea The water rose and fell, The wind dropped and blew, We continued to sail, Through dust and through dew, The sails were hoisted, The captain took the wheel, The man in the crows’ nest, Warned of a whales or a seal. The captain steered, With strength and might, To reach safe land, Before the dead of night. Can we forget? Not we, The olden days and the journey by sea?
