A Joke

once upon a time,
there was a coward knight.
He had never entered a battle,
but always said very proud:
"I am a brave knight,
because my mind keeps thinking
about how to fight"
no one could ever say he was a coward
because he couldn't accept it.

one day, when
he was in his house,
talking to his friends,
he recieved a letter that said
"We shall call you, Mr. Knight
To help us in this fight.
Follow the river and you might
Find us and our kind"

the not so brave knight
laughed out loud
saying "this must be a joke,
i'll stay here and watch"

the days passed,
and he realized:
all of his friends had died
because he didn't believe
that he was so important
in that fight.

ha ha ha
poor knight.
he cannot sleep at night
because he keeps screaming to himself
"they were too strong for me
i wouldn't help"
poor knight!
poor knight!
afraid of nobody
but himself.
