A Jealous Man

It’s hard to accept truth
It can make your body shiver and ache
She doesn’t want to catch your eye
She doesn’t want to identify with you
She doesn’t want to embrace you
Your being a jealous man
It’s tough not being able to attract what you want
To be green with envy and the heart turns black
She doesn’t want to experience life with you
She doesn’t want to lock with you
She doesn’t want to become one with you
We all need someone
To ensure us that someone can be are missing half
She doesn’t want to go through life trials with you
She doesn’t want to cry with you
She doesn’t want to comfort you
My friend I know
I can see the hurt in your expressions
Seeing her with someone else, It’s eating you
You feel like there is no one else
You thought there was a connection, you thought wrong
She doesn’t want to be your queen
She doesn’t want you to be her king
She doesn’t want to grow old with you
She doesn’t want to die beside you
She doesn’t want to be the angel that guides you
Yeah, I’m a Jealous man
