Interesting work. I have no idea, Howard, what it is supposed to mean but you do. A hundred miles of starkness would give a kind of desolate feeling. Thank you for sharing. 👍✍️. Sara K.

Thank you, Sara, as always for your detailed reflections. It may seem a tad mysterious. For clarity’s sake, I didn’t interpret the prompt literally. The distance between two people in a caring relationship can seem like a hundred miles when it isn’t. The work is based on a loving couple and their unwillinngness to separate. They have to for professional reasons. And anything approaching a long stretch might convey desolation. Their parting hugs and waves might be a comfort. Hope that helps. Thanks again Howard
