Notes About The Poem

Celebrations can be fun, but some return back home,
to a house, they used to share, with a spouse.
A followup phone call may not find one in a jolly mood.

A House Call

A House Call

and back
to home and not
and knot in stomach pit
when cradled cell and heart do stop
all’s well?

So sad when one loses a dear one. You display emotions very well. Victor.

Dear Kim, I am sorry to read this from you. It's good poetry, as always, but I am sorry your heart hurts. Hugs, hang in there <3

My dad has his down and ok days. Being without Mom for the past years is hard during the holidays. Hearing the hurt in his voice is hard. Hugs
