A Hold On Life

Falling and fading fast
Conflicts eye has shown me what to ask
Why now can I only fall?
Just hold me, take me from these walls

Paintings escape my mind
I need you to inspire me and help me find
Feelings that have run so far
Spirals, circles and dreams that pain my heart

Lifeless, dreary souls
Reflections, you are my ghost
Take me and nurture all my dreams
Help me, everything I’m seeing screams

Hopeless, nothing left
Flying, a sky that loves my theft
Faces I see, I’ve killed them all
Dying, flying, more so when I crawl

Kill me, hold this blade
Bleed me, help me fade
With me, we’ll never die
Falling, we can be so alive
