A Heart Song
A sleepless night,
Stars burning bright,
Stilling the moon,
Shining silver spoon,
Feeding the dreams,
With endless screams,
Moments of fire,
Rising to inspire,
Whispers of grace,
A gentle embrace,
Stirring souls fancy,
Breathless and chancey,
Music’s rhythmic flow,
Contentment will grow,
Wherever light fades,
Familiar shadow cascades,
Breathing wonderful life,
Never bringing strife,
Wherever birds sing,
Peace is king,
Inside, I believe,
God will relieve,
When I’m lost,
And sea tossed,
I know One,
He won’t shun,
When tears come,
I won’t succumb,
Because He cheers,
Through the years,
Bringing joy alive,
Wonders who thrive,
Erasing all doubt,
I’m never without,
Love that provides,
Love that abides,
Wherever He lives,
His voice gives,
Reasons to hope,
Ways to cope,
Without His light,
I couldn’t write,
This love lives,
This love gives,
He’s always mine,
He’s my lifeline,
When time ends,
Because we’re friends,
I’ll live evermore,
In heaven’s splendor,
Thanks to Him,
My heart’s hymn,
Resonates with elation,
He’s my foundation,

Forever and always!
