A Heart About To Break
I feel I'm losing hold
The draw of new faces
Will leave me distant from view
Despite reassurances
New people will love your kind heart
And they'll be a river between me and you
Soon it will be a gulf
Too wide an ocean
For me to sail at your side
New girls will fire your heart
Your excitement, your mind
I'll be dying inside
Others will have your smile
Your 'Good Morning'
The way I used to do
I can't bear the thought
Of being anywhere
Unless I'm there with you
Feel like my ventilator
Has been turned off
I'm fighting to stay awake
Life is now suspended
In beautiful memories of love
Interjected with a heart about the break...
