A Hare In My Soup

The thing about bunnies
I find rather funny:
it’s hard to have only two.
You put them together
in any old weather,
and one thing is certainly true:
that before you know it,
that cage? They’ll outgrow it,
and you’ll be cooking up stew.
But you’d best take care
to leave a matched pair,
Or your soup-making days will be through.
