A Happy Sunday Song

Wake up, it’s Sunday, bright and new,
A gentle gift just meant for you.
Let joy stretch wide, let worries rest,
Today is wrapped in calm and blessed.
Smile easy, breathe the morning air,
Let laughter find you unaware.
Sip hope like sunshine, warm and slow,
Let grateful thoughts begin to glow.
Be merry in the little things—
In birds that sing, in bells that ring.
In quiet moments, soft and true,
In all the good surrounding you.
So lift your heart and greet the day,
Let peace and happiness lead the way.
This Sunday’s here—rejoice, be glad,
Life is a gift, and joy is to be had.
