A Green Christmas

The Christmas forecast for this year
will be eighty degrees and skies clear
No cold, no snow, no frost at all
a green Christmas could be dull
Get out the grill and grill some meat
Ice cold drinks to cool from the heat
Wearing shorts and tees and no shoes
no to turkey chow down on picnic foods
Spend the day out in the yard
play baseball as neighbor washes his car
The sun is bright and warms the day
sitting under the awning for the shade
Ice cream floats and ice cream cake
as fun to eat as fun to make
Presents exchanged by the pool
a green Christmas rather cool.
