A Great Price

In a time not so long ago in this being such wickedness of the age So many men would have to row only later to be put into a cage They were brought ashore as even their families were to be sold As one man, a King would deplore in speaking out loud and bold He said that he was not for sale and would not work for anyone The merchants heard his tale walking past when they were done Again and loud and clear he stated his refusal to anything as such Such a big seen had he created but his word didn't seem to touch For soon he was carried up to the stage repeating what he had said In his voice you could hear the rage for he would rather off be dead Then the man came his way and stated that for him he had just paid As again he would say never any other man have I worked or obeyed The man said you misunderstand for I have paid in order to set you free Falling to his knees unable to stand saying please make a servant of me And as the Lord has paid my price I too am so unable to even stand What this man did was nice, what the Lord did for You was so much more grand A great price was paid for you!
