A Great Idea

I have a great idea! My cousin Jim said.
As we devoured grandma's warm homemade bread.
Let’s sing a melancholy melody tonight.
I don’t really sing those, being well-bred, and bright.

How about an upbeat devilish tune?
I said you are a hoot, Jim in the full moon.
You pick the song, he said. Choose anything.
I ran off swiftly because I do not sing.
