A Grandparents Dream
We are relics
And very realistic.
To be asked to be in the birthing room
Is fantastic.
We know having a baby is climatic.
We are all waiting on baby to make a
Public
Appearance which will be dogmatic.
To see your grand baby right out of the
Womb is a historic
Moment. One that is filled with beautiful
Swirling magic.
All babies look angelic
That is just automatic.
I know your authentic.
Yet, at this moment you are majestic.
Baby, you have become the topic
Of the day for these two fanatics
To anyone who will listen. This doesn't
Defy logic
It is customary and automatic
For grandparents to brag about
Something genetic.
