A Good Wife Prays
A good wife prays
For her hubby
Loves him always
Even on days
When he’s running
The streets and creeping
Down other
Women’s hallways.
A good wife goes
To the Father
About the things
That bothers her
Regarding her hubby.
A good wife continues
Her duties
No matter where
He should be
Or what he’s doing
She knows that he has
To answer to the heavenly
Majesty for whatever
Dastardly deed.
A good wife understands
That prayer is what
Her hubby needs
Even when she’s tired
And angry.
She loves him always
A good wife for her hubby
She prays.
