A Good Poet

A GOOD POET

A poem is so hard to start
Unless it comes from the heart
In order to get the words to flow
What you want to write you first must know
Some pick up a pen and the words just come
While doing that is hard for some
But a good poet keeps on trying
Some times in frustration sighing
And though the words don’t come at first
A good poet will still have the thirst
And he will keep on searching his heart
Knowing that the words will start.
