A God Send

As these words flow from thought, I must write them down and not let such a precious moment pass. Never before have I written to the one I have yet to meet, a woman of warmth, depth, and exquisite class. I cannot remember if ever wrote a poem such as this, if so, it was long before my divorce. I have since given my spirit over to the Lord, and like a leaf blown by the wind, let nature take its course. You will know when I find myself in your presents, experiencing that aura of enchantment. There is a sparkle in your eyes and your melodious voice that inspires my spirit, a feeling of enhancement. So many wondrous things that I have heard you utter and speak. The dreams ideas and goals are many of the same that I seek. It is said and true that God puts people in one’s life for a reason. You make me feel that I am embarking on a glorious new season. Meeting you was not just happenstance, it was pre-ordained, it was meant to be. There is no doubt, a wonderful future in store for both you and me. As we step forth into a brand new enchanted life and prosperous year, With the spirit of love within, there shall be absolutely nothing to fear. I find myself hanging on to every melodious spoken word you say. With you in my life and guidance from God, I shall never again have a wonder of purpose and on the straight and narrow path, I will stay.

An Aussie duo (Savage Garden - long since dissolved) Once wrote a song with the words, I think I loved you before I met you. I must have dreamed you into life. ....... I sure hope she comes into your life soon Wayne, and you can show her your beautiful poem, and let her know that she was loved before you met her.

I know the song you speak of and thank you for relating that wonderful song to my poem. I appreciate the honor.
