A God Given Righteousness
God has given us his righteousness
which is not our own
Jesus indeed paid the price
on the cross he died to atone
An imputed righteousness
is exactly what we’ve been given
for has indeed secured for us
a status that destines us for heaven
We must with thankful hearts
be for ever praising our King
for His boundless love and mercy
we shall eternally sing
