A Glorious Place

So what happens when we leave our life on this earth?
We have been here so long, living happily since birth.

Is there a pathway to heaven, or a bright light that I'll see?
Will my loved ones be there, and happy to greet me?

Will I see rainbows and mountains, like everything's a dream?
Is there a beach, or a river, or could I float down a stream?

Will there be pain, while you are crossing over from life,
Or does it all go away, the pain and the strife.

I have many questions, but I have faith that it will be,
A glorious place, peaceful, and free.
