A Girl's Heartbreak

A girl was crying in the corner, Thinking about her memories with that goner. How they used to play, sing, and dance together, Promising each other they'd stay forever. These promises meant nothing to them, Forgetting her for someone new, as if they'd never met. Why they left her, she'll never know, As they moved on to start their life with someone new.

A sad reality ~ the wounds inflicted by abandonment take a long time to heal and yet it can be done, by God’s grace.
