A Girl (Redefined)
Reach out into me
leave this withered place
venture out beyond the sea
take flight above this tattered waste
Break free of Love and Stone
journey uninhibited and alone
race into glorious sunset
disturb the world in all its unease
make your notes lest we forget
uproot all things believed
Leave it all behind and below
rise high and let the world fall
Do not fear to experience and grow
stop listening and just call
life is too short and too hard
to be held down by the stars
stop watching and start doing
don't live through chains or bars
Go alone or come with me
just go, go, be free
Leave something behind
choose something to find
because you are not theirs or mine
you are free and redefined
