A Gift For the World

A GIFT FOR THE WORLD

You said you want to fall in love
Then you said you don't know how
You told me that I make you happy
But I'm the one that's happy now
Your bliss is mine
And I am all yours

It's been awhile since we've met
But I can feel you all around
We're both under the same sky
We're both above the same ground
You're deaf and shine bright
I'm blind and sing loud

Love was just a dream I had
All night long just counting sheep
Dream come true waking next to you
Now love wont let me go to sleep

So here I sit
Painting you into the stars
A gift for the world
So when they look to the skies of night
They will know
The heavens were so aptly named
