A Gift
Today before I place my feet to the floor
Before I walk out the door
I will be grateful for the gift
I will rejoice in the uplift
I shall breath a sigh of happiness
Feel a sense of awareness
For another day
That the lord has sent my way
I will unwrap the gift of life
Today before I place my feet to the floor
I won’t ask for anything more
