A Ghost Who Played Jokes

I know a house where there lives a ghost.
I've been told this ghost likes to play jokes.
The stories that float around town are,
this ghost was a lad when he passed.
Playing jokes on anyone who enters.
no one has accepted the dare to stay all night.
What will happen inside?
I know some kids, who took a chance.
The door shut behind them.
The faucet came on by itself.
Snatching their hats he flew around.
Pulling the rug out from underneath their feet.
Thinking he was the king to beat.
Never talking of that night
the ghost sits and waits for
another innocent mind!
