A Gentle-man's Agreement ~~ ___________________________________________________________ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Sir, we clearly are not on the same page, therefore, here is what I propose, let us find a middle ground, let us reach halfway, let us make a deal, let us play ball, let us go fifty-fifty, let us even the odds, and let us give and take ... you mean compromise and not concede, exactly, and in return, there is an acceptance of equal terms, therefore, let us both agree to respect ... naturally, Madame. ~~ "Burying The Hatchet" (metal/mettle showing) ~~ 2021 July 17 *1st Place* A Brian Strand July 20 ~~Brian Strand: Judged 2021 July 21

Actually, it is a metal-end of a hatchet, cliche meaning burying the hatchet ... that was my meaning questioning "FV" Free Verse and thought it should be Shape instead.

William, it looks very much like a flower vase or an urn to me. Nice design.
