A Gentle Moon
Softly shone the autumns moon
Led by transition and folly,
Held in the solitude is night’s existence
Shielded by those instilled
Beneath the ray from a gentle moon
For all is past as summer fled
To the fall of winters passage;
Only then shall dusk bestow itself
Into the makeup of the night
Beneath rays from a gentle moon
Wait long for time in weary sunder
Is a structure in itself!
And morality left to the spirit of life
Is lost and gone forever
Beneath our gentle moon
