A Gentle Goodbye
A Gentle Goodbye
When night falls quiet and shadows creep,
Death walks softly while others sleep.
With a tender touch and a peaceful glow,
It takes our hands and helps us go.
Each heartbeat writes a tale we weave,
Of love and laughter, joy and grief.
Though life may end, don’t be afraid,
For love remains—it never fades.
Like autumn leaves that drift and dance,
Life moves forward, a fleeting chance.
Though bodies rest, our souls will rise,
Living on in tear-filled eyes.
So share your stories, the good and bad,
Hold on tight to times once had.
For when we part, it’s not the end,
We live in hearts of foe and friend.
So cherish love, let it shine bright,
A guiding star in the darkest night.
Though death may come, love stays true,
Forever bound in me and you.
