"a Frozen Prayer"

I wrote this poem for the people of Oklahoma that was in the frozen storm
in Jan.2007.

Please hear us Lord when we say this prayer.
Tell those who need help that you are there.

They have no food no warmth no power.
They've been in the freezing cold for hours.

The ground is frozen the lines are down.
Men and women have come to help from all around.

Our tears have fallen when we've cryed.
For those who in this storm who have died.

Dear Lord hold us in your hands while we're in need.
So keep us safe and send us Gods speed.

A very welcome tribute, I am sure, for the folks had a hard go of it. Sincerely, Moses
