A Friend Indeed
I see true beauty in your eyes,
like the blues that flood the skies;
you wield a world void of lies.
You are my friend indeed.
You remind me of the Rainbow.
Your smiles scare away sorrow.
With you I can face tomorrow...
You are my friend indeed.
In the land of love you sow a seed;
sharing and caring are your creed.
You give so much yet without greed...
You are my friend indeed.
Sunshine or rain, you are right here.
Mountains or valley, you are there.
I see your footprints everywhere;
You are my friend indeed.
