A Friend

A friend is the person that sits close to me
A friend is the love and warmth he leaves
A friend is my companion I roam the sea
A friend is the person that will climb the tallest tree

A friend is the person that sits close to me
That knows all my faults but still sees
That brings me a rose and still lets me be free
That loves my friends as much as thee

A friend is the love and warmth he leaves
That leaves me with his embrace and let be
That leaves his heart like honey and bees
That will wait for one day it might be three

A friend is my companion I roam the sea
That one day together we’ll flee
That words will turn into songs as She
That the sea and the horizon will meet like we

A friend is that will climb the tallest tree
And I’ll sit beneath   and weep  
And I’ll cover with the amber leaves with glee
And will become one with thee
