A Friend

A picture I see brings a sense of pleasurable need
A need I had that day to hold you in that way
Touching your breathe loosing ourselves in our eyes
That was a day that is definite to stay, never to go away

Painful I can say to a bleeding heart remembering; the next day
When you were forced to leave, I could not conceive
Memories seem as clear now as they did then
You were truly a friend and you will be until they end
I cannot see you anymore but I believe, I am sure
That the time will come when heaven will unlock its doors
And we will be together again
Walking through eternity hand an hand
My friend
