A Fresh Start
A new beginning like a brand new day
Now I am grinning as I go about my way
For it's a fresh start a different road taken
For thine own heart can not be forsaken
So I begin anew in putting my past behind
For I must be true in heart soul and mind
So again I reach trying to hold on to His Word
In not trying to preach but only asking have you heard
And all along that road I'm soon beginning to see
What was really owed in order to set me free
So I just keep going down that perfect path
Even in just knowing the power of God's Wrath
I will not turn back or concede in my way
For no matter what I lack it is not of what I say
If you wish you can come along, your own little fresh start
For God we all truly long especially when He is not part
