A Fresh Start
Yesterday has been and gone
today is a new day to start from
whatever our background
no matter where we have been
God loves us he wipes our slate clean
he will stand by us both day and night
we are precious to him in his sight
he is compassionate and graceful
he frees us from all our sin
he called us by our name and we belong to him. amen.
