A Fresco Promise

I promise you a fresco.
Despite your hardened hues.
Brushed with a novice's palm and a masters' hearty rouge...
To paint your dreams, I'll give you one step beyond everything.
Until your eyes devour every color of my death.

I'll sacrifice my bones to alabaster.
Fashion a pair of Icarus wings.
Fly straight into the blackest sun.
This will take a lifetime to conceive.
But time does not chain a love that's chained to eternity.
I promise you a fresco, like a desert cloud makes rainy promises.
