A freedom too far?

Assisted dying is should be made legal
Because life can treat people unequal
The misery people face
Is not something society should embrace

I am a believer in pro life
Not pro intentional strife
I also believe in pro choice
Many people don’t have a voice

People should decide their own fate
It shouldn’t be for a court to debate
Suffering comes in all types of form
There needs to be urgent reform

For some they have terrible accidents
They have no one who represents
Some people have terrible genetics
Who face an onslaught of skeptics

We trust people to decided about food
Alcohol, medicines, gambling to name a few
All can kill one way or another
So why let people who can choose suffer

I should be able to choose my final demise
Without others faces compromise
I should be able to legal do it
And no one else just ever face consequences
