A Form of Presence Deep Within

As a Christian barometer
that provides recollection
of the past and present situation
a good measurement, an inner voice.

  It’s a response to human need,
  a connection to those in trouble;
  a song to those in difficulties,
  a consolation, a sigh of relief.

Having a moment of silence
enables one to let God be felt
like an encounter, a listening
to sacred forces deep within.

  Perhaps discipline in many ways
  can create a profound meaning
  in the light of faith – conversion
  a keyword to God’s inspiration.

How like anyone else hath done it,
with thee, O Lord, there’s hope;
in all seasons and situations,
thou art the author, source of creation.
