A Forever Love
I must have been in love with you
long before we met,
I really don’t remember when
but I know I can’t forget.
Maybe in a different life
and by another name,
where things were much different
but the feelings were the same.
After thirty five years together
my love is still as strong,
and I’m sure it will last forever
for together is where we belong.
Some call it love at first sight
others will say it was fate,
but if love can transcend time
I have truly found my soulmate.
