A Forever Heartache

The person I fell in love,
 with never existed,
     It was easy for you,
 I never resisted.

    The persona was created,
 just for me,
    Blinded by love,
 I could not see.

    A wound to the heart,
 a scar that won’t heal,
    A prayer to pray,
 but I just can't kneel.

    A leap of faith,
 a doubt of trust,
    A question of the truth,
 a heart that’s been crushed.

    A constant array,
 of never-ending thoughts,
   What could have been,
 and what is not.

    A powerful spiral spin,
 out of control,
    A forever Heartache,
 that lives in the soul.
