A Forest of Steel

What wondrous things await
As long as we are still alive
Even a day dawning with gloom
Can yield a tremendous surprise

Like hearing from an old friend
When you thought you’d been forgotten
Can change the texture of your day
To the touch of soft spun cotton

I keep this notion forefront
Especially when I feel
I’m searching for a clearing
In a forest of steel

I love this, Mike! How serendipitous when gloom turns into sunshine. Love your images "forest of steel" Saved and 7
